Orthodontic care is a long-term investment in your health and well-being. The cost depends on the severity of the case and lenght of the treament. An estimate of the cost will be given to you at the consultation.
We generally see patients every 6 to 8 weeks for their adjustment appointment. An appointement usually takes about 15 to 20 min.
In our office, treatment usually lasts 24 to 36 months. depending on the complexity of the case. Orthodontic treatment time and its success depends on multiple factors such as, age of the patient, the severity of the problem, the patient's cooperation and the speed of natural response of teeth movement.
A short period of time is needed to get used to new appliances.

Yes! Regular checkups with your family dentist are important while in braces. Your family dentist will determine the intervals between cleaning appointments while you are in braces.
Braces can cause a little discomfort initially until one gets used to them. Teeth can get a little sore a day after every adjustment appointment but they are not painful. This annoyance can be relieved easily with over-the-counter pain relievers, if needed. Most of our patients do not need to take any pain relievers.

Financing options are available that make orthodontic care affordable. Payments are made on a monthly basis. We accept credit cards (Visa, Master Card), debit cards, cheques or cash. If you are a benefactor of an insurance, will we assist you with you claim. Insurance companies do not pay orthodontists directly. A special claim form will be supplied to you upon request. This form is approved by The Canadien Association of Orthodontists.
